I started my flying career in 2004 in the Los Angeles area and earned my private helicopter pilot certificate in 2005. I completed the rest of my training (instrument, commercial, CFI, and CFII) at Universal Air Academy at El Monte Airport. I also hold an Airline Transport Pilot certificate for helicopters.
I spent time instructing at Van Nuys Airport before moving into other helicopter operations, where I gained extensive turbine experience across a variety of airframes. My flying has included missions such as electronic news gathering, VIP charter, production, LiDAR scanning, organ transport, and patient transport. I currently fly for a medical transport company based in the Los Angeles area and stay active in the training community through my work with Orbic Air and EuroSafety International.
With over 6,500 flight hours in helicopters, I bring a strong focus on professionalism and safety. I’m proud to support the next generation of pilots in my role as a helicopter Designated Pilot Examiner for the FAA.
